Chris and Kristin.

My first Wedding shoot.  Also a Groomsmen.  This combination made for an interesting night.  I had just gotten my new flash in the week prior and had limited experience using it indoors.  The thing destroyed batteries.  I also noticed a wall sized mirror just behind the cake.  My only saving grace would be the white ceiling.  I can say I learned more from this one shoot than in most of my previous experience with other subjects and disciplines.  This shoot was what turned me to the dark side of Photography.  Weddings.  That being said, Chris and Kristin were more than a pleasure to photograph, and their attitudes and love for each other made the experience all the more fulfilling and enjoyable.

Faith and Eric’s Engagement.

I’ve known these two awhile now, and was asked to photograph their wedding.  Since that is still a little ways away, we decided to do some engagement photos.  We opted to use the backdrops of Downtown Tucson and Saguaro National Park, two incredibly beautiful places in the great Southwest.  Sunset here is quickened by the mountains, so getting the shots we wanted happened at lightning pace.  But we were lucky enough to be able to capture some of the summer monsoon rains and gorgeous sunset colors before it finally got too dark.  I cannot wait to photograph these two at their wedding, and wish them all the best!
